Do you love plants?
Yes? So do we! Come hang out with us and have some fun! We generally meet once a month on Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in HFSB 102. Our first general meetings for the Spring 2025 semester will be on Jan 23 and Feb 13! We'll see y'all there!

Who are we?
We are a social organization dedicated to bringing people together who share a passion for plants and making our mark on the horticultural community. Through the club, we have opportunities to learn new information and techniques from guest speakers, professors, and even each other. Membership is open to all majors at Texas A&M University, so if you love working with plants, want to learn more about the field of horticulture, or meet people with similar interests, come check us out!
Ready to explore the world of horticulture and compete with the best? The TAMU Hort Club has traveled across the country, taking on challenges at the ASHS and NCLC Competitions. Join us and learn a variety of skills, from operating heavy machinery to identifying hundreds of plant species. Let's grow together and see where our green Aggie thumbs take us!
Looking to accelerate your career in Horticulture or just in general? The TAMU Hort Club strives to create an environment for members to grow and cultivate their professional development by bringing in Guest Speakers from the field and hosting various Career Fairs.
Let's get those hands in the dirt! The TAMU Hort Club is a big believer in giving back to the community and we walk our talk through various volunteering opportunities. Check out our Events/ Volunteering page for more info on what were up to!
Two Hort Club members walk into a bar... 2 more follow and then the rest join in. Boom! You got a TAMU Hort Club Social Event!
Nothing we love more than getting to know each other and our new members. We host around 1 to 2 socials per month, lets hope to see you in the next one!
Let us grow together!
Our club offers a unique blend of hands-on experience, educational opportunities, and social events. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a curious beginner, you'll find a welcoming community here.
We implore you to explore our website and see the many opportunities you may find in our club. From greenhouse workshops, to travel opportunities, we know there's
