Growing Futures Rooted in Gratitude

Every year we like to show our appreciation to both our members and officers in the club by raising funds to award our annual Horticulture Club Scholarships. All funding for this scholarship comes from our amazing sponsors and the earnings our club makes selling saplings of our campus's historic Century Tree. The Century Tree is one of A&M's historic landmarks and is widely known as one of the first planted on Texas A&M's massive 5,200-acre campus. Today, it still stands and serves as a testament to the strength and generosity of the Aggie spirit!

The Horticulture Club Scholarship

There are 2 scholarships we provide (members & officers). Depending on your involvement in the club will determine which one you are eligible for. The amount of awards we give out depends on our earnings from our sales of that year.

Requirements:

- Must be a dues-paying member of the TAMU Horticulture Club for Fall 2026

- Must not be graduating before December 2026

- Be prepared to attend the Horticulture Department Scholarship Ceremony on April 17th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm if you are selected as a recipient.

Description:

The Horticulture Club Scholarship is a merit based scholarship awarding $500 to 3 deserving members of our organization. The Scholarship is awarded on engagement in the organization and quality of responses in this application.
